Application for Mentors

Mentors:

  1. Must meet the CDA Advisor requirements (located in the Assessment System and Competency Standards from the Council for Professional Recognition)
    1. Pages 77-81 in the preschool caregivers in center-based programs.
    2. Pages 90-94 in the infant/toddler caregiver in center-based programs.
    3. Pages 93 - 95 in the family child care providers.
  2. Mentors should meet with apprentices 10 hours a month. If you are unable to meet this requirement contact the apprenticeship coordinator for the possibility of negotiations.
